Deal made in the £200 at Empire

Made the top four as chip leader, and we decided to split it four ways weighted on our chip stacks. So i walk away with £5500 from a £220 investment so ain't half bad. Details to follow but right now i need sleep from playing for 10 hours through the night

  2. You lack the killer instinct of a winner who would have backed himself to win and take down the whole prize.

Thats why you will never be as successful as the Phil Ivey's of this world.

  4. I really can't be bothered to write the details up yet but will do by tomorrow. Nice effort as well dom, cheers.

I suppose you made your comment Kenneth on the back of lack of information. I was chip leader with four to go, and had 190000 with blinds at 10000/20000 with the others there or there abouts. So crapshoot. The money was too important to effectively gamble with it. If the structure was better tho i would have played it out undoubtedly as i would back myself against the best.

  7. wd Ant.

Kenneth made his comment out of being a donk who probably can't afford to buy in to a poker tournament let alone figure out what constitutes a good or bad deal. 4 handed flipping - you'd have been better off playing roulette than not taking a deal there.

  8. If you want to win in poker you got to be prepared to flip blind in order to win the big bucks. It is better to go out trying than sitting on the fence you'll get splinters !

Good luck in the future Ant maybe you'll to be ruthless with more experience on the live circuit. Hope to see you on the circuit soon for the big bucks.

    Regards

    Ken
